Our Dens
Every scout has a den.
A den is a small group of kids in the same grade who meet together, work on adventures, and become the friends your child looks forward to seeing. Dens meet a couple of times a month, and the whole pack comes together for monthly meetings, campouts, and the Pinewood Derby.
How it works
Grouped by grade, led by parents.
Cub Scouting runs from kindergarten through fifth grade, and each grade has its own rank: Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light. Your child joins the den that matches their grade and moves up with the same group of friends each year.
Dens are led by parent volunteers, usually a parent of a scout in that den. They meet a couple of times a month and work on the adventures that make up that year's rank. Where they meet varies. A neighborhood park when the weather's good, a member's home or a school space when it isn't.
